WHATS KILLING YOUR KIDNEY?

Please remember the following information, shared by Dr. Okyere, a Ghanaian doctor in the United States, to help everyone take care of their health:

The speed at which young people suffer from kidney disease is alarming. Here are the 6 main causes of kidney disease:

Delaying going to the bathroom: Keeping urine in your bladder for too long can cause bladder damage and lead to bacterial multiplication, which can result in kidney and urinary infections.

Eating too much salt: It's recommended to not consume more than 5.8 grams of salt per day.

Consuming too much meat: Too much protein in the diet can be harmful to the kidneys and lead to kidney damage.

Drinking too much caffeine: Caffeine, found in many sodas and soft drinks, can increase blood pressure and may harm the kidneys.

Not drinking enough water: Kidneys need to be well hydrated to function properly. Drinking more than 10 glasses of water a day is recommended.

Late treatment: It's important to treat health problems early and have regular health check-ups to prevent kidney disease.
